CfBT Education Trust is a top 30 UK charity providing education services in the UK and internationally. Established 40 years ago, CfBT has an annual turnover exceeding £100 million and employs 2,650 staff worldwide.

CfBT staff teach in nurseries, schools, academies and the secure estate, and manage national programmes in the UK and special projects overseas, as well as providing advice and consultancy services to education professionals. Our work involves teacher and leadership training, curriculum design, school inspection, advice and guidance for young people and support for school improvement.

Every year CfBT finances a substantial programme of public benefit research and development. We seek to identify what works best in education globally and then apply it locally to continually improve teaching and learning.

Mission statement for CfBT Schools

Our schools aim to provide affordable, accessible, high-quality education; to help children become self-confident and successful learners; to encourage them to be principled, active global citizens with a commitment to making a difference in their communities; and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and personal qualities needed to thrive in tomorrow’s world.
